Now in Tupelo Mississippi after driving from Joplin Missouri,  Went all the way across Arkansas and cut the corner of Tennessee.

We were so excited about being close to the end of this road trip that we went too far!  More than 500 miles and 10 hours of driving!  It beat us up.  New Guidelines, limit to 6-7 hours driving per day.

Relearned somthing we already knew,  don't believe everything on the Internet.  Fran searched for quilt shops and reviewed their ratings, we tried to go to one but it was in fact a persons home and not a shop.  Interesting drive but no result at the end.

Another observation is that in our mode of life, retired and traveling, you may not be aware of events going on in the rest of the culture.  Sure we knew it was valentines day on thursday but didn't tie into that friday after valentines day and before a long weekend would cause the restaurants to be packed.  Plus here in Tupelo Mississippi restaurants can serve booze while the 8 surrounding counties are dry.  This added to the packed restaurant, so we sat at the bar and had a great meal with drinks.  Turned out pretty well.
